Yay!!! Here's our first Teacher Reader post!!!! Each month we'll be highlighting one of our very own teachers as a reader to encourage our kiddos to READ!
Meet Mrs. Whitehead! This is Mrs. Whitehead's first year teaching 5th grade here at Hannan. She previously lived and taught in Missouri. She's a newlywed who loves to garden and decorate her new house. When Mrs. Whitehead's not reading blogs about cooking and wedding planning (for her upcoming reception!) or playing with her sweet dog, Maya, you can find her reading dystopian and fantasy novels. She's currently reading the Game of Thrones series (WINTER IS COMING!!!) and her favorite author is C.S. Lewis.
Mrs. Whitehead tells her kiddos, "the only way you're not a good reader is if you're not reading".
